Cadwell Park Track Guide

Located in rural Lincolnshire, Cadwell Park is a real favorite for bikers, bringing thousands of fans from far and wide to watch the British Superbike Championship on the August Bank Holiday. Cadwell has gained a nickname over the years the Mini Nurburgring. Its not just for bikers as more and more car events are taking place over the years including the British Kart Grand Prix, Ginetta Festival and a meeting for the Historic Sports Car Club. The most famous section of Cadwell is ‘The Mountain’ where bikes can become airborne if they have the bottle to go flat out. All in all this is a fantastic track. Not ideal for your first track day as some sections can be quite tight in a car but bikers will love it to bits.

Established in 1934 the track made use of its location in the rolling countryside producing a tight and twisty course with plenty of hilly sections. In 1953 the track grow to 1.3 miles and again in 1962 to 2.25 miles. Reg Spreckley was the first person to win a race at Cadwell in his Mini Cooper.
