Kirkistown Racing Circuit is known as Irelands fastest track and is located near Portavogie on the picturesque Ards Penisula in Co Down. Started in 1953 using the old disused airfield at Kirkistown, the track has been developing and progressing ever since with up to date facilities being improved all the time. The track layout has virtually stayed teh same since the beginning apart from the addition of the chicane on the back straight added in 1970. Today Kirkistown offers many driving experiences, track days and hosts many race meetings and the national sprint championship.
